Travel Help Desk Analyst

Location: United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Experience Level: Entry-Level / Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for a customer-focused and technically capable Travel Help Desk Analyst to provide support to customers, travel partners, and internal teams with travel-related systems, bookings, applications, and technical enquiries. The successful candidate will respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, assist with travel platforms, and ensure enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for travel-related systems, platforms, and applications.
  • Respond to customer and internal support enquiries via email, phone, chat, or ticketing systems.
  • Assist with booking, reservation, account, and travel platform issues.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical and system-related problems.
  • Investigate issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist users with account access, password resets, and system navigation.
  • Monitor outstanding support tickets and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Provide clear guidance to users on travel systems and processes.
  • Liaise with airlines, hotels, travel agencies, suppliers, and other partners when required.
  • Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to improve support processes.
  • Prepare basic reports on help desk activity and common support enquiries.

Requirements

  • Interest in travel, tourism, customer support, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Comfortable working with computers, online platforms, and software systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple support requests efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous help desk, travel, customer service, or technical support experience is beneficial but not essential.

  • Familiarity with travel booking or reservation systems.
