Travel HR Assistant

Location: United Kingdom

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Experience Level: Entry-Level / Associate

Job Overview

We are looking for an organised and people-focused Travel HR Assistant to support HR and people operations within the travel and tourism sector. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, employee records, onboarding, HR administration, internal communications, and day-to-day people-related activities while working with travel and tourism teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR documents, letters, forms, and reports.
  • Assist with employee enquiries and direct HR-related requests to the appropriate team.
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, training sessions, and HR activities.
  • Support holiday, absence, and attendance administration.
  • Assist with maintaining HR policies, procedures, and internal documentation.
  • Support employee engagement and internal communication initiatives.
  • Liaise with managers and employees regarding routine HR administration.
  • Assist with HR reporting and data management.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
  • Support other HR and administrative projects as required.

Requirements

  • Interest in human resources, travel, tourism, hospitality, or business administration.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Good time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous HR, recruitment, administration, travel, or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
