Job Overview We are seeking a people-focused and organised Travel Human Resources Professional to support human resources activities within the travel and tourism industry. The successful candidate will contribute to recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, training, employee engagement, and people operations while supporting the needs of travel and tourism teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities, including job advertising, candidate screening, interview coordination, and communication.
- Assist with employee onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Provide support with routine employee enquiries and HR-related requests.
- Assist with preparing employment documentation, HR letters, reports, and internal communications.
- Coordinate employee training, development programmes, and HR initiatives.
- Support holiday, absence, attendance, and employee records administration.
- Assist with employee engagement and workplace initiatives.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Work with managers and employees on day-to-day people-related matters.
- Prepare HR reports and analyse basic workforce data.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and HR information.
- Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Keep up to date with relevant UK employment practices and HR developments.

Requirements
- Interest in human resources, travel, tourism, hospitality, or business.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational and administrative abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good time-management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous HR, recruitment, administration, travel, or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, or employee databases.
- Basic knowledge of UK employment practices and HR procedures.
- Experience supporting recruitment and employee onboarding.
- Good Excel and HR data-management skills.
- Knowledge of the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector.
- CIPD qualification, study, or relevant HR training is advantageous.
