Role Description
The Travel Operations Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for coordinating and managing travel arrangements to support CASE’s programs, events, and field activities across Africa and beyond. Day-to-day tasks include researching and booking flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational policies. The specialist will maintain travel itineraries, track changes, and communicate updates clearly to travelers and internal stakeholders. This role also involves liaising with vendors, managing travel documentation and approvals, and monitoring travel-related risks and compliance requirements. The Travel Operations Specialist will collaborate with project teams to anticipate travel needs, support logistics for workshops and conferences, and contribute to process improvements in travel operations.

- Operations Management Skills: Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee end-to-end travel processes, maintain documentation, and ensure policy compliance.
- Project Management Skills: Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, schedule, and track travel logistics for multiple concurrent programs and events.

Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in travel coordination or operations, familiarity with international and African travel regulations, proficiency in digital travel and collaboration tools, and strong organizational and time management skills.
A relevant diploma or degree in Business, Operations, Hospitality, or a related field is advantageous, as is prior experience working with mission-driven or non-profit organizations.
