We are looking for a friendly, organised, detail-oriented, and responsible Travel Operations Specialist with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, travel operations, customer requirements, and travel planning.

In this role, you will support the coordination and organisation of travel-related operations, activities, customer requirements, travel products, bookings, and operational tasks. You will work with different types of travel information and help ensure that assigned operational activities and tasks are organised, communicated, and completed accurately and within the required timeframe.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel-related products and services, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, promotional activities, and other travel-related services.

This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy travel, organisation, operations, communication, research, planning, and working with different types of information, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination and organisation of assigned travel-related operational activities.
  • Support the planning, preparation, and execution of travel-related tasks and operational requirements.
  • Organise travel information, schedules, requirements, bookings, and relevant documentation.
  • Monitor assigned tasks and ensure that operational activities are completed within the required timeframe.
  • Coordinate information between customers, team members, travel suppliers, and other relevant parties where applicable.
  • Collect, review, and organise travel product, booking, and destination information.
  • Assist with researching destinations, accommodation, attractions, activities, and travel experiences.
  • Prepare travel-related information, operational updates, summaries, and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate and organised operational and customer-related records.
  • Track operational requirements, deadlines, updates, and outstanding tasks.
  • Follow up on assigned activities and communicate progress when required.
  • Assist with booking-related coordination, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
  • Review travel product and booking information to ensure that operational details remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support the coordination of seasonal travel operations, promotional activities, and new travel product initiatives.
  • Communicate with appropriate team members or travel suppliers when additional information or clarification is required.
  • Identify missing information or outstanding requirements and follow up appropriately.
  • Assist with resolving routine travel operational issues.
  • Complete assigned daily operational tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

Your work may include helping to:

  • Organise travel operational requirements and schedules.
  • Coordinate information between different parties involved in travel arrangements.
