We are looking for a friendly, organised, detail-oriented, and reliable Travel Operations Specialist with an interest in travel, tourism, travel planning, customer service, and operational coordination.
In this role, you will support the day-to-day coordination of travel-related services, assist with travel enquiries and arrangements, organise relevant information, and help ensure that travel products and customer requirements are handled accurately and efficiently.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products and services, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, flights, transfers, tourist attractions, local experiences, activities, city breaks, group travel, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, organisation, planning, communication, problem-solving, coordinating information, and learning about different tourism markets, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day coordination of travel-related enquiries and operational tasks.
- Review customer requirements, travel dates, destinations, budgets, and general preferences.
- Assist with organising suitable travel options and related services.
- Coordinate information relating to accommodation, activities, attractions, transfers, and other travel products.
- Review travel arrangements and ensure relevant information is accurate and complete.
- Assist with booking-related enquiries, amendments, changes, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Organise travel information and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with relevant team members, travel suppliers, and service providers when additional information is required.
- Follow up on outstanding enquiries, requests, and operational tasks.
- Assist with checking availability and relevant travel product information.
- Help identify alternative travel arrangements when the original option is unavailable or unsuitable.
- Ensure customer and travel-related information is recorded accurately.
- Monitor assigned tasks and complete them within the required timeframe.
- Assist with resolving routine operational issues and escalate complex matters when necessary.
- Review travel product information to ensure that operational information remains current.
- Support the preparation and organisation of travel-related documents and information.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, colleagues, and relevant travel partners.
- Complete other assigned travel operations and administrative tasks as required.
Travel Operations & Coordination
The role focuses on supporting the smooth coordination of travel-related services while ensuring that customer requirements and operational details are handled accurately.
Your work may include helping to:
- Review and organise customer travel requirements.
- Coordinate different elements of a travel arrangement.
- Ensure relevant booking and travel information is complete and accurate.
- Communicate with travel suppliers and internal teams.
- Track outstanding travel-related requests.
- Provide updates regarding travel arrangements when required.
- Assist with changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests.
- Identify suitable alternatives when travel arrangements need to be adjusted.
- Help ensure that travel services are coordinated according to customer requirements.
- Organise information from different travel products and service providers.
- Support customers and colleagues with travel-related operational questions.
- Follow established procedures when handling travel-related tasks.
- Escalate unusual or complex operational issues to the appropriate team member.

The main focus of this position is to support efficient travel operations, coordinate travel-related information, maintain accurate records, and help ensure that customer travel arrangements are organised effectively.

Travel Information & Supplier Coordination
Travel Operations Specialists may also support travel companies by maintaining accurate information about travel products, suppliers, destinations, seasonal services, and operational requirements.
Your work may include:
- Keeping up to date with travel product information.
- Reviewing accommodation, activity, attraction, and transfer details.
- Communicating with relevant travel suppliers and service providers.
- Requesting additional information when required.
- Checking operational details relating to travel arrangements.
- Assisting with supplier and customer enquiries.
- Supporting changes to existing travel arrangements.
- Organising information received from different travel partners.
- Helping ensure that travel information is communicated accurately.
- Supporting seasonal travel campaigns and new product launches where relevant.
- Monitoring changes that may affect customer travel arrangements.
- Assisting internal teams with accurate and up-to-date travel information.

Working Arrangement
This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements.
Daily tasks can be completed using a:

Basic Requirements

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
- Travel / Tourism / Hospitality / Customer Service / Travel Operations / Administration / Logistics / Marketing / Digital Marketing / E-commerce / Business / Media
