About the Role
We’re looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Travel Planner to join our travel team. In this role, you’ll help clients plan and coordinate business and leisure travel, including researching destinations, arranging flights and accommodation, creating personalised itineraries, and managing travel bookings. You’ll work closely with clients, travel suppliers, hotels, airlines, and other service providers to deliver smooth and enjoyable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budgets
- Research destinations, flights, accommodation, activities, and transportation options
- Create personalised travel itineraries based on client needs
- Arrange and manage flights, hotels, transfers, tours, and other travel services
- Compare travel options and identify suitable solutions based on price, convenience, and quality
- Make and maintain travel reservations and bookings
- Confirm travel details, schedules, policies, and booking requirements
- Communicate booking information and travel documentation to clients
- Monitor changes to flight schedules, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements
- Assist clients with itinerary changes, cancellations, and travel disruptions
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, and other suppliers
- Maintain accurate booking records and customer information
- Track travel costs, budgets, payments, and booking details
- Provide destination information, travel recommendations, and practical guidance
- Support clients before, during, and after their trips
- Prepare travel reports and booking summaries
- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and payment information 🔐
- Stay informed about travel trends, destinations, regulations, and supplier offerings
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and travel planning processes

What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in travel and tourism
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills

- Good computer and Microsoft Office skills

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in travel planning, tourism, hospitality, customer service, or reservations is advantageous
- Entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications or customer-service experience are welcome to apply
- Experience with travel booking systems, GDS platforms, CRM systems, or online travel platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of airline, hotel, rail, and tour booking processes is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of UK and international travel destinations is beneficial
- Familiarity with UK travel regulations and industry practices is an advantage
- Additional language skills are a plus
