Travel Planning Co-Ordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Travel Planning Co-Ordinator to join our growing Matchday Operations team at Elland Road.

As the Club continues its exciting stadium redevelopment and expansion plans, this role will play a vital part in shaping the future travel experience for supporters, staff, visitors, and stakeholders. You will lead the implementation and ongoing delivery of the Club's Travel Plan, helping drive sustainable transport initiatives and ensuring efficient travel operations across all stadium events.

Working closely with internal departments and external partners including Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Combined Authority, transport operators, and local stakeholders, you will combine strategic planning, operational delivery, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to help create a best-in-class visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Club's Travel Plan.
  • Identify and deliver initiatives that promote sustainable travel and support modal shift objectives.
  • Develop new transport solutions that improve access and visitor experience across all events.
  • Support stadium redevelopment plans through effective travel and transport strategies.
  • Monitor Travel Plan objectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Data Analysis, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Design and commission travel surveys and consultation activities.
  • Analyse travel and transport data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Produce reports, recommendations, and action plans to support decision-making.
  • Review Travel Plan performance and implement improvements where required.
  • Monitor sustainable travel targets and stakeholder commitments.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for transport-related matters.
  • Develop strong relationships with local authorities, public transport providers, and community stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Leeds City Council, WYCA, National Highways, transport operators, and local partners.
  • Represent the Club at travel, infrastructure, and stakeholder meetings.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
