Salary: £30,000 to £33,000 depending on experience

Are you an experienced travel operations professional with a passion for accuracy, leadership and continuous improvement?

We're looking for a Product Set-Up Lead to lead our Saga Product Set-Up team, ensuring our holiday products are accurately loaded and launched on time. You'll play a vital role in bringing our products to market by coordinating workloads, supporting your team and working closely with Commercial, Product and Operations colleagues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This role requires you to be working from our Folkestone office a minimum of 3 times a week. We have designated office space for colleagues in our Travel business, allowing us to collaborate and share success as a function.

Role Responsibility

As our Product Set-Up Lead, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop the Product Set-Up team, creating a high-performing culture focused on quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate daily workloads and resource planning to ensure all product loading deadlines are achieved.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for all Saga product set-up queries.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product loading process, ensuring all products are accurately configured and validated before going on sale.
  • Monitor quality standards, identify errors and implement preventative measures to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Chair workload planning meetings, monitor progress against key deadlines and proactively manage priorities.
  • Produce reporting on workload, service levels and operational risks.
  • Manage Tigerbay task queues, ensuring requests are completed within agreed service levels.
  • Build strong relationships with Commercial, Product, Finance, Sales, Aviation and Destination Services teams to support successful product launches.
  • Review and improve existing processes, helping reduce manual effort and improve speed to market.
  • Maintain clear and accurate process documentation to support consistency across the team.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential

  • Previous contract loading or product set-up experience within a travel reservation platform.
  • Experience working within the travel industry.
  • Experience leading, coaching or mentoring a team.
  • Excellent organisational and workload planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to investigate issues, solve problems and implement improvements.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

Desirable

  • Experience using Tigerbay.
  • Experience leading operational process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of holiday product loading and on-sale processes.
