We are looking for an organised, responsible, and detail-oriented Travel Project Coordinator with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, travel planning, and project coordination.
In this role, you will support the coordination and organisation of travel-related projects, helping to ensure that travel information, project activities, schedules, customer requirements, and relevant travel products are organised and managed effectively.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel-related projects, including holiday programmes, destination projects, travel experiences, accommodation arrangements, city breaks, local experiences, seasonal travel projects, themed travel programmes, tourism activities, and other travel-related initiatives.
This position is suitable for individuals who enjoy travel, organisation, planning, project coordination, destination research, communication, and learning about different tourism markets, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of assigned travel-related projects.
- Organise project information, tasks, schedules, and relevant travel details.
- Assist with planning and preparing travel project activities.
- Research destinations, travel products, accommodation, attractions, and travel experiences.
- Review project requirements and organise relevant information accordingly.
- Track assigned project tasks and follow up on outstanding activities.
- Help ensure travel-related information is accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate with relevant team members regarding project requirements and updates.
- Communicate with travel suppliers or service providers when additional information is required.
- Assist with booking-related project information, changes, amendments, and special requirements where applicable.
- Maintain accurate project records and travel-related documentation.
- Organise customer requirements and relevant project information.
- Assist with preparing travel schedules, options, and project materials.
- Support the coordination of multiple travel-related tasks when required.
- Monitor project timelines and complete assigned activities within the required timeframe.
- Report relevant project updates to appropriate team members.
- Assist with resolving routine project-related issues and follow up where necessary.
- Complete assigned daily tasks accurately and responsibly.

🗂 Travel Project Coordination
The role focuses on helping organise different stages of travel-related projects and ensuring that relevant information and tasks are properly coordinated.
Your work may include helping to:
- Understand project objectives and requirements.
- Organise travel-related information and resources.
- Coordinate tasks between different stages of a project.
- Keep project information structured and accessible.
- Follow project schedules and assigned deadlines.
- Track progress of assigned activities.
- Identify missing information and follow up with relevant parties.
- Assist with changes to travel plans or project requirements.
- Organise alternative options when original arrangements are unavailable.
- Maintain clear communication throughout the project.
- Support project completion and follow-up activities.

The role of the owner at MBRF will focus on the strategic management of operations in Port of Spain, ensuring alignment with the company's purpose and business results.
In day-to-day activities, the owner will define objectives and priorities, monitor financial and operational indicators, make decisions about investments and resources, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and integrity standards.
The owner will also be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, strengthening partnerships with suppliers and customers, and promoting innovation in processes and products.
The position requires full-time, in-person work and constant interaction with other MBRF units worldwide.
Qualificações
- Proven experience in business management and operations leadership with a focus on results, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
- Solid knowledge in strategic planning, finance, and risk management, including decision-making in complex contexts.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, build trustful relationships, and manage conflicts collaboratively.
- Clear communication and negotiation skills with different internal and external audiences, valuing transparency and ethics.
- Higher education in administration, engineering, economics, or related areas, with a postgraduate degree or MBA being advantageous, in addition to fluency in English and international experience.
