Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to ER patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Perform triage assessments, prioritize care, and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and monitor patient responses
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, APNs, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate handoffs during transfers and discharges
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALSS
- Minimum ER or acute care nursing experience
- Ability to work 7:00 pm–7:00 am shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (RN)
- Eligible for a 13-week travel assignment and able to travel as required
