Travel Sales Manager

Location: Cheshire
Salary: Competitive

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leading travel business in Cheshire, seeking an experienced and driven Sales Team Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Service, you will lead a multi-brand sales team, driving sales, margin and service performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience across a portfolio of brands. This role will be working Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm with 1 Saturday per month and offers a competitive basic salary, commission/bonus and many other company benefits.

Travel Sales Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, coach and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Own sales, revenue, margin and profit performance across the brands.
  • Monitor leads, customer service levels and team KPIs.
  • Deliver coaching, training and development to enhance individual and team performance.
  • Review sales data and provide commercial insight, identifying trends and opportunities.
  • Introduce sales initiatives, incentives and team challenges to maximise performance.
  • Manage rotas, performance issues, complaints and day-to-day sales support.

Travel Sales Manager Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Team Leader or Sales Management role in travel.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • A natural ability to coach, motivate and develop people.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
