High Point Holidays
High Point Holidays is growing, and we're looking for talented people to join our team. This is an opportunity to sell exceptional tailor-made holidays across the UK and Europe, work flexibly from home and join an ambitious independent travel company at an exciting point in its development. We're looking for people who love travel, connect naturally with customers and have the confidence and drive to turn great conversations into confirmed holidays.
Who are we?
For more than 18 years, High Point Holidays has been creating tailor-made touring holidays across Ireland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and several other European destinations. Our clients are looking for more than the obvious. They come to us for authentic experiences, great walking and cycling, wildlife, food and culture, spectacular landscapes and places they might never have discovered themselves.
Today we are a team of more than 30 people and entering a new phase of growth, particularly in English-speaking markets, which already represent around 90% of our business. It's a good time to join us. As the company grows there will be opportunities for people to develop with it, take on more responsibility and increase their earnings.
We're an independent business with a family feel, built on mutual respect, trust and collaboration. Maintaining this close-knit culture as we grow is extremely important to us.
The role
You'll work from home in the UK, helping customers turn an initial idea into an exceptional holiday. Much of the job is about understanding what someone really wants. You'll need to listen well, ask the right questions and build a relationship quickly, often with customers you'll never meet face-to-face. From there, it's about using your knowledge and judgement to create the right holiday and keeping things moving from first enquiry through to confirmed booking.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking the initiative with customers. You'll know when to follow up, when someone needs reassurance and when an enquiry needs a little momentum.
You'll have the freedom to use your judgement, backed by a team with deep knowledge of our destinations and products. You'll also be accountable for your results, with clear expectations around conversion and a reward structure that recognises good performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll do
- Convert inbound enquiries into confirmed holiday bookings.
- Understand what customers are really looking for and recommend the right itinerary.
- Build strong customer relationships through phone, email and video conversations.
- Create bespoke quotations and tailor-made holiday proposals.
- Follow up proactively and keep promising enquiries moving.
- Manage bookings accurately from enquiry through to travel, working closely with our product and operations teams.
- Recommend appropriate enhancements and extras.
- Develop your knowledge of our destinations and products.
- Contribute ideas about how we can improve conversion and the customer experience.
About you
You may already be working in frontline travel and wondering what your next move should be. Perhaps you're looking for more autonomy or flexibility, or simply want to work somewhere smaller where you can have more influence.
We're interested in experience, but not an arbitrary number of years. What matters is that you're good with people and confident talking to customers. You'll be able to understand what a customer is telling you – and sometimes what they aren't – and use that understanding to help them make a decision.
You'll need to be organised and self-motivated, particularly because you'll be working from home. You'll take ownership of your enquiries and be comfortable being accountable for your results.
Experience in travel sales or tour operating is valuable, particularly if you can demonstrate strong conversion or sales results. We’re also open to people who are newer to the industry but can demonstrate strong customer skills, commercial awareness and the motivation to succeed. Destination knowledge and internal processes can be learned; what matters most is the ability to build trust with customers, follow up effectively and help people make confident travel decisions.
And the destinations?
You don't need to arrive as an expert on our European destinations. Your own travels or career may have taken you much further afield. That's fine. We're interested in people who are genuinely curious about travel and good at passing that enthusiasm on to customers.

The destinations we sell have extraordinary variety and depth. They include remote islands and wild landscapes, some of Europe's great cities, outstanding food and history, wildlife, walking and cycling, and plenty of places most international visitors have never heard of.
We'll give you the training and first-hand experience you need to build your knowledge. Being close to the destinations also makes it easier to get out and experience the product regularly.
What we offer
- £30,000–£45,000 basic salary, depending on experience, plus performance-related commission. Expected on-target earnings are approximately £55,000, with higher earnings possible where strong sales performance is achieved.
- Full-time, 35 hours per week.
- Home-based working within the UK.
- Flexibility in how the working week is organised, balanced with the needs of customers and colleagues.
- Five weeks' holiday plus company pension.
- Onboarding and initial training in France, followed by remote regular training and support.
- Educational and FAM trips where appropriate.
- The opportunity to contribute ideas and take on more responsibility as High Point grows.
We support flexible working and will discuss working patterns that can work for both the individual and the role. Some flexibility may be needed to respond to customers and colleagues, including where enquiries fall outside standard office hours.
Why High Point?
High Point has been around for more than 18 years, but the business still has plenty of room to grow. For the right person, that makes it an interesting time to join. You'll be working with travel every day, have the flexibility of being home-based and work in a business where individual people can still have a real influence.
You'll be trusted to do your job, supported to improve and rewarded when you perform well.
If you're already succeeding in travel but looking for something different – or you're earlier in your career and think you have the confidence, curiosity and drive to become very good at it – we'd like to hear from you.
How to apply
Send your CV and a covering letter or email to Jane Davey at jane@highpointholidays.com. We'd particularly like to hear why High Point appeals to you and why you think this could be the right move.
