Long Haul Travel Specialist
This fabulous award-winning adventure travel company is looking for an experienced Long Haul Travel Specialist to join their fun, friendly team of experts. You will specialise in building multi-sector tailor-made itineraries to long haul destinations. Competitive salary based on experience, from £35k up to £39k basic depending on experience, (OTE £45k+ in first year) with structured salary uplift scheme based on performance. Flexible hybrid working after probation, relaxed office, private healthcare, fam trips and annual travel allowance! Must be able to start on 8th September
Long Haul Travel Specialist – Role & Responsibilities:
- Tailor-make dream trips for customers, incorporating multi-stop flight itineraries, accommodation, adventure tours and more.
- Provide the customer with expert advice on routings and destinations.
- Utilise Amadeus GDS to book multi-sector itineraries.
- Work towards and achieve revenue targets.

Long Haul Travel Specialist - Skills and Experience Required:
- Must have experience of working as a travel specialist and booking long haul multi-sector trips preferably using Amadeus or Galileo / Sabre.
- Strong long haul destination knowledge gained from selling and personal travelling experience.
- Multi-sector fare building knowledge would be an advantage.
- Passion for adventure travel.
- Experience working to monthly sales targets.
Long Haul Travel Specialist – Key Benefits:
- Basic salary of £35k to £39k dependent on experience, plus structured salary uplift scheme according to sales achieved.
- Lucrative bonus structure - paid biannually, OTE of £45k in first year.
- Monday to Friday shifts from 8 to 5.30. Saturdays only worked in January on a rota basis.
- Office based initially, with hybrid working after successful completion of probationary period, flexible with 1 to 2 days in the office.
