Travel Store Manager
We are looking for an inspirational and commercially focused Travel Store Manager to lead a successful retail travel agency, driving sales performance, developing a high performing team and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced travel professional with strong leadership skills who is passionate about achieving results while helping customers create unforgettable tailor made holidays.
Travel Store Manager - Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop a high performing team, creating a positive sales culture that delivers exceptional customer service and commercial results.
- Drive store performance by achieving and exceeding sales, conversion and profitability targets while maximising revenue opportunities.
- Oversee the daily operation of the store, ensuring compliance with company policies, operational standards, financial controls and health and safety requirements.
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences by maintaining high service standards, supporting the resolution of customer issues and ensuring a seamless end to end booking journey.
- Coach, train and support team members through regular performance management, development opportunities and succession planning initiatives.
- Drive local business growth through marketing initiatives, events, promotional activity and community engagement to increase enquiries and footfall.

Travel Store Manager - Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous management experience within the travel industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with experience developing and motivating successful sales teams.
- Commercially astute with experience managing KPIs, profitability and business performance.
- Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Self motivated, target driven and capable of leading from the front.

Travel Store Manager - Additional Information:
- Competitive salary of £35,000 to £37,000 plus uncapped commission and fantastic OTE.
- Office based 37.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 or 9.30 to 6.
- Weekend working on a rota: Saturdays 9 to 5.30 and Sundays 10 to 4.
