We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Travel Support Specialist with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, and travel services.
In this role, you will assist customers with travel-related enquiries, provide relevant travel information, support travel planning activities, and help customers understand different destinations, travel products, and travel-related services based on their individual preferences and requirements.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, destination research, travel planning, communication, and helping people, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
π― Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with travel enquiries and provide relevant travel information.
- Understand customer preferences, interests, travel dates, budgets, and general requirements.
- Provide support relating to destinations, travel products, holiday options, accommodation, attractions, and travel experiences.
- Research different travel options and provide clear and relevant information.
- Help customers understand and compare suitable travel products based on their needs and preferences.
- Assist customers throughout different stages of the travel planning and support process.
- Prepare and organise travel information, options, and relevant customer support materials.
- Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel products, accommodation, activities, and travel arrangements.
- Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
- Follow up with customers regarding travel enquiries, requested information, and outstanding requests.
- Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and organised customer and travel-related records.
- Review travel product information to ensure information provided to customers is accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about changes to relevant travel products, destinations, seasonal offers, and travel conditions.
- Communicate with appropriate team members or travel suppliers when additional information or clarification is required.
- Complete assigned daily customer support and travel-related tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

The role focuses on helping customers obtain useful travel information and providing professional support throughout different stages of their travel planning process.
Your work may include helping to:
- Understand the individual needs and expectations of different travellers.
- Respond to customer questions relating to destinations, travel products, accommodation, and experiences.
- Provide travel information based on customer interests, preferences, and requirements.
- Help customers discover destinations and travel experiences that may be suitable for them.
- Present travel information in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
- Provide alternative travel options when the original choice is unavailable or unsuitable.
- Support customers during different stages of the travel planning process.
- Maintain professional communication and build positive customer relationships.
- Follow up on enquiries and provide additional information when required.
- Assist customers with general travel-related requests and questions.
- Support seasonal travel campaigns and promotional offers where relevant.
- Help customers understand the features and benefits of different travel products.

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
