We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Travel Support Specialist with an interest in travel, destinations, customer service, and travel planning.

In this role, you will provide customers with practical support and information throughout different stages of their travel planning process. You will assist with travel enquiries, destination information, accommodation options, activities, travel arrangements, and other travel-related services.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products and services, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, problem-solving, destination research, travel planning, and helping people, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer travel enquiries and provide relevant support.
  • Understand customer travel dates, preferences, interests, budgets, and general requirements.
  • Provide accurate information about destinations, accommodation, attractions, activities, and travel services.
  • Assist customers in reviewing and understanding available travel options.
  • Help customers identify suitable travel products based on their individual requirements.
  • Support customers with general travel planning and information requests.
  • Research travel information and provide clear and relevant answers to customer questions.
  • Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
  • Provide support when customers require additional information about travel arrangements.
  • Follow up with customers regarding enquiries, requested information, and outstanding travel-related matters.
  • Communicate with relevant team members or travel suppliers when additional information or assistance is required.
  • Maintain accurate and organised customer and travel-related records.
  • Review travel information to ensure that information provided to customers is current and accurate.
  • Keep informed about changes to destinations, travel products, accommodation, seasonal offers, and travel conditions.
  • Escalate complex or specialised enquiries to the appropriate team member when required.
  • Complete assigned daily customer support and travel-related tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.
