We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Travel Support Specialist with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, and travel services.
In this role, you will support customers with travel-related enquiries, provide relevant travel information, assist with travel planning, and help customers understand different destinations, travel products, and travel-related services based on their individual requirements.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed travel experiences, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, communication, destination research, travel planning, and problem-solving, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
π― Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer travel enquiries and provide relevant travel support.
- Understand customer preferences, interests, travel dates, budgets, and general requirements.
- Provide information about destinations, travel products, holiday options, accommodation, attractions, and travel experiences.
- Research different travel options and provide clear and relevant information to customers.
- Assist customers with questions relating to travel products, destinations, and travel arrangements.
- Help customers compare suitable travel options based on their needs and preferences.
- Support customers throughout different stages of the travel planning process.
- Prepare and organise travel information, options, and relevant customer support materials.
- Provide accurate information regarding destinations, travel products, accommodation, activities, and travel arrangements.
- Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
- Follow up with customers regarding travel enquiries, requested information, and outstanding matters.
- Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and organised customer and travel-related records.
- Review travel product information to ensure information provided to customers is accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about changes to relevant travel products, destinations, seasonal offers, and travel conditions.
- Communicate with appropriate team members or travel suppliers when additional information or clarification is required.
- Complete assigned daily travel support tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

The role focuses on providing customers with helpful travel support while ensuring their enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.
Your work may include helping to:
- Understand the individual needs and expectations of different travellers.
- Assist customers with travel-related questions and requests.
- Provide relevant information based on customer interests, preferences, and requirements.
- Present travel information in a clear and easy-to-understand way.
- Provide alternative travel options when the original choice is unavailable or unsuitable.
- Support customers during different stages of the travel planning process.
- Maintain professional communication and build positive customer relationships.
- Follow up on enquiries and provide additional information when required.
- Assist customers with general travel-related issues and requests.
- Support seasonal travel campaigns and promotional activities where relevant.
- Help customers understand the features and benefits of different travel products.

The main focus of this position is to provide useful travel support, respond to customer enquiries, organise relevant information, and assist customers with their travel-related needs. The role combines customer service, travel information, destination knowledge, travel planning, and support coordination.

π£ Travel Information & Support Coordination
Travel Support Specialists may also support travel companies by staying informed about new products, seasonal offers, destinations, and relevant travel information.
Your work may include:
- Keeping up to date with new travel products and destinations.
- Understanding seasonal travel offers and relevant promotions.
- Providing customers with suitable travel information based on their enquiries.
- Helping customers discover new destinations and travel experiences.
- Providing accurate information about promotional travel products.
- Supporting seasonal travel campaigns when appropriate.
- Organising and updating travel-related information.
- Assisting with customer requests that require additional information or clarification.
- Supporting communication between customers, team members, and travel suppliers where required.
- Helping ensure customer enquiries are followed up appropriately.
- Assisting with travel-related administrative and support tasks.

This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements.

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
- Travel / Tourism / Hospitality / Customer Service / Marketing / Digital Marketing / E-commerce / Business / Media
