Travel Technology Recruitment Account Manager – Travel Technology Industry – Remote UK based

Award winning and market leader, C&M Travel Recruitment are a specialist Travel Industry Recruitment Consultancy with over 27 years of trading. As a business, we recruit all disciplines from Sales, Marketing and Commercial through to Finance and Technology and are now looking to expand our Technology offering to our clients, which include major players in the industry as well as smaller specialists in their field such as Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Corporate Travel Management Companies, Airlines, Cruise, Car Hire plus many more.

Travel Technology Recruitment Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Working with an experienced, fun and loyal team, this is a 360-degree role, so you will actively manage every stage of the recruitment process including:
    • Prospecting new clients
    • Agreeing commercial terms
    • Attending client visits
    • Creating and posting engaging vacancy adverts online
    • Pro-actively searching for and headhunting candidates from multiple sources
    • Interviewing candidates and arranging interviews

We have a number of preferred supplier agreements with clients and have been working with these for many years so there will be an element of account management for existing clients but we are also seeking someone who has a good understanding and contacts within the travel technology arena, having worked for or with travel technology companies, understands the nuances of the various roles which exist in the sector, developing new business, is comfortable being on the phone and prospecting new clients too, with an excellent understanding of the various roles within it, including developers, programmers and CTO’s.

  • You will ideally have a minimum of 4 years travel technology experience – either from a technical, sale or commercial background
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience of delivering first class customer service
  • Someone who thrives in a target driven environment and is highly self-motivated, always prepared to go the extra mile to achieve success
  • Recruitment experience would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given

Travel Technology Recruitment Account Manager Package and Location

  • A competitive basic salary dependent on experience, to be discussed on application
  • Transparent monthly commission structure with low threshold and the potential to earn up to 40% commission

  • The role will predominately be home based with occasional team meetings in London
