Responsibilities

Travel Tour Operator (Scotland)

Location: Edinburgh

Hybrid work after probation

Salary: between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We are open to considering higher salary expectations for candidates with particularly relevant experience and expertise.

Main duties:

  • Manage and coordinate group travel programmes to visit Scotland from confirmation through to completion, ensuring all services, suppliers, and client requirements are delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Creating and preparing itineraries, quotations, and costings for group tours.
  • Managing group bookings from confirmation through to completion.
  • Handling all group booking administration, including amendments, cancellations, rooming lists, and travel documentation.
  • Ensuring tours run smoothly by coordinating with clients and processing requests accurately and on time.
  • Negotiating rates and terms with suppliers while maintaining quality and budget.
  • Processing invoices and supporting payment administration.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Candidate's Profile

– Previous experience in tour operations or a DMC is essential. – Good knowledge of Scotland and the UK as a travel destination. – Fluency in Italian, German, French, or Spanish would be a real bonus. – Excellent communication and organization skills. – Proactive, dynamic, and ability to multitask. – Able to work as part of a team as well as take initiatives. – More flexible working arrangements could be considered for candidates with extensive relevant experience.

Salary: between £28,000 and £35,000 per annum depending on experience. We are open to considering higher salary expectations for candidates with particularly relevant experience and expertise.
