100% REMOTE UK

We’re EXCLUSIVELY recruiting this Leisure Travel Trade Account Manager – Strategic Partnerships job working 100% remote within the travel industry, offering an excellent salary DOE plus bonus and company car. This is a relationship-led trade sales role managing and growing a portfolio of trade partners, identifying and onboarding new business, and supporting leisure travel industry partners through training and account development.

Our Customer

Our client is an award-winning, well-established tour operator, known for the quality of the holidays they design and the standard of service they deliver.

They are now seeking an Account Manager – Strategic Partnerships to take ownership of a new niche sector within their business portfolio, developing existing partnerships while identifying, onboarding and scaling new ones to support the business's long-term growth plans.


The Role

In this role, you will manage and grow the full portfolio of niche sector trade accounts, developing existing partnerships and scaling new ones to support the business's wider trade strategy.

  • Manage and grow the full portfolio of niche trade accounts as the primary point of contact
  • Identify, present and onboard new partnerships to scale revenue and expand the portfolio
  • Drive sales growth by increasing active accounts, repeat bookings and average booking value
  • Build trusted relationships with partners through regular engagement and in-person activity
  • Deliver tailored training, webinars and one-to-one support to improve partner product knowledge and conversion
  • Work closely with Product teams to identify opportunities to develop the portfolio
  • Partner with Yield and Inventory teams to ensure strong margin return and inventory depth
  • Support loyalty and recognition initiatives to retain and grow partner engagement
  • Attend trade events, conferences and FAM trips to represent the brand
  • Resolve escalations with a balanced commercial and customer-focused approach

Experience Required

  • Experience within the travel industry, ideally in trade sales, account management or business development
  • Track record of growing an account base through proactive new business development
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with a sales-driven mindset
  • Confident delivering training and engaging partners, virtually or in person
  • Organised, proactive and data-driven in your decision-making
  • Collaborative team player with a strong customer-first approach
