Purpose of the role
We are looking for a highly organised Travel Trade Sales & Events Coordinator with previous experience in the travel industry.
You will provide day-to-day support to the sales team while coordinating travel-trade events, FAM trips, supplier activity, agency engagement programmes and commercial administration.
This is a varied role for someone who understands how tour operators, travel agencies and suppliers work together. You will manage multiple deadlines and relationships while ensuring our sales and trade activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Travel-trade sales support
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the sales team across all regions.
- Maintain accurate travel-agent, supplier and partner information across internal systems.
- Support the onboarding of new travel-agency and supplier partners.
- Administer supplier and commercial agreements.
- Produce sales reports, performance updates and management information.
- Track sales activity and support the team in achieving departmental targets.
- Coordinate brochure distribution to travel-agent partners.
- Administer agent rewards, incentive payments and engagement programmes.
- Manage supplier contributions and maintain accurate event-funding records.
- Support communications and engagement activity across the travel-agency community.

Commercial reporting and administration
- Track and reconcile departmental budgets, supplier contributions and commercial agreements.
- Raise purchase orders, process invoices and prepare monthly budget reports.
- Produce KPI reports, sales-performance updates and commercial analysis.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness and return on investment of events and FAM trips.
- Maintain appropriate governance and compliance records.
- Ensure supplier agreements and travel documentation are complete, accurate and up to date.
- Provide clear commercial information and insight to support the wider sales team.
Travel-trade events
- Plan and coordinate travel-trade events from initial concept through to delivery.
- Manage invitations, registrations and communications with travel-agent attendees.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers, tourism partners and internal teams.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and event logistics where required.
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenditure remains within agreed limits.
- Support trade shows, conferences, regional events and networking activities.
- Gather feedback and report on attendance, engagement and outcomes.
FAM trips and educational visits
- Coordinate travel-agent FAM trips, educational visits and supplier experiences.
- Support attendee selection and manage participant communications.
- Work with hotels, airlines, tourist boards, destination management companies and other suppliers to secure support.
- Prepare accurate itineraries and ensure all travel documentation is complete.
- Coordinate flights, accommodation, transfers and other trip arrangements.
- Gather post-trip feedback and report on engagement, outcomes and return on investment.

Essential
About you
- Previous experience within the travel industry, ideally gained with a tour operator, travel agency, travel supplier, airline, hotel or resort group, tourist board, destination management company or travel representation business.
- Experience in sales support, trade marketing, events, partnerships or commercial coordination.
- Experience coordinating FAM trips, educational visits or travel-trade events.
- Experience administering supplier agreements, incentives or agent rewards programmes.
- Experience managing event budgets, purchase orders, invoices or commercial reconciliations.
- A good understanding of the travel trade and the relationships between tour operators, suppliers and travel agents.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Confidence handling administrative, commercial and financial information.
