Role Overview

Do you share our ambition to make our public transport network the safest in the world? Would you like the opportunity to help deliver this for our customers and staff? If you’re looking for a new role and are passionate about public safety and customer service this could be the role for you!

Your Role

Day to day you will be supporting the Security, Policing and Enforcement Manager and TravelSafe Operations Lead to deliver all operational aspects of the Greater Manchester TravelSafe Partnership. This will include supporting contract management for the TravelSafe Support and Enforcement Officers (TSEOs), looking at data to identify trends and hotspots to inform staff patrols and organising joint operational deployments with other partner agencies, in particular Greater Manchester Police. The role will be varied with the opportunity to get involved in other areas of the team including education, customer engagement and wider organisational resilience activity.

About Us

What You’ll Bring

  • Commensurate knowledge and experience of crime reduction and community safety, ideally in a transport related context alongside:
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience of working across agencies and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret varied and complex data to identify trends.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing and competing demands and workloads.
  • Be prepared to undergo police vetting to Security Clearance (SC) level.

This is a perm role with a salary of £40,650 - £45,107 per annum depending on skills and experience.
