Treasurer / Trustee
Voluntary role | Approximately 35 hours per year
An established UK membership organisation supporting the charity sector is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Board as Treasurer.
This is an opportunity to use your financial expertise to support an organisation whose work reaches thousands of professionals working across hundreds of charities, helping them strengthen the impact of their communications and wider work.
We are looking for someone with:
- Significant senior-level financial management experience.
- Board-level or senior experience working with governance and Trustees.
- Strong financial governance, strategic planning, and budgeting experience.
- An understanding of, or genuine empathy with, the charity/not-for-profit sector.
- The confidence to provide constructive challenge alongside a collaborative approach.

This is a voluntary Trustee position, with an expected commitment of approximately 35 hours per year, including quarterly Board and Committee meetings.
