Animal Action Greece is seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees and help secure a better future for animals across Greece.
For more than sixty years, Animal Action Greece has worked to improve the welfare of animals through practical programmes, education, advocacy, and partnership. We are now entering an exciting new phase as we strengthen our governance, grow our impact, and build long-term financial sustainability.
We are looking for a Treasurer who can bring financial understanding, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to our Board. This is a strategic leadership role, not a day-to-day finance role. Working closely with the CEO, Chair, Finance Committee, and fellow Trustees, the Treasurer will help oversee financial planning, budgets, reserves, risk and assurance, ensuring that every donation and grant is used wisely and effectively to improve the lives of animals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
