Alfie’s Cat Rescue is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming cats in need in Selby and the surrounding areas.
We are seeking a Treasurer Trustee to support our organisation as we grow and take our next steps as an organisation.
What difference will you make?
As a Trustee, you will help us support cats in Selby by formalising our expenditure and working closely with operational volunteers to create and sign off budgets.

- Financial qualifications and experience.
- Some experience of charity finance and fundraising.
- Ability to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences.
- Being prepared to make unpopular recommendations to the board.
- A willingness to be available for advice and enquiries on an ad hoc basis.

As a trustee you'll have an essential role in contributing towards the future direction of Alfie's Cat Rescue and making a real difference to the lives of cats.

This year we are aiming to grow significantly following our foundation year.
Therefore we're looking for trustees with experience of working with start ups and formalising an organisation.
You'll work closely with our operational volunteers who run the rescue and there will be opportunities to connect with a range of people who are all dedicated to improving the lives of cats.
