About Us
We create shows using film, theatre, and music, and give others the opportunity to do the same.
Participants develop their self-esteem and confidence and develop skills enabling them to return or continue in education, seek employment, or take the next step in their careers.
What Difference Will You Make?
You will be a key member of a small team developing the work of the charity. We are looking to set up an amateur arts organization in Ladywood, Birmingham, where we are based. The group will run sessions during the day targeting those who are not in education or employment.
We are currently without a Treasurer. We need someone new to take ownership of Rage’s finances and ensure the charity’s financial stability and growth in future years.
Role Description
Rage’s Treasurer needs to plan their own work, being proactive and taking the initiative in all aspects of the role. Owen Radmore leads the operational side of Rage working part-time, but needs strong support from a finance professional to guide him.
The remaining board members lack relevant financial expertise, so, as well as statutory filing and providing regular management reports and reserves monitoring, this is an opportunity to take a lead role in shaping the strategic direction and future growth of Rage, working closely with Owen.
Rage’s projects may involve working with children or vulnerable adults, and although the Treasurer wouldn’t necessarily be involved directly with the beneficiaries, we would require a confidential DBS check for anyone taking up the role of Trustee.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
