Family Office Treasury Accountant

Location: West London (hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + bonus & benefits
Language Requirement: Fluent Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali or Telugu Speaker

We are working with a multinational investment group to appoint a Family Office Treasury Accountant for its West London-based Family Office division. The group manages a diversified international portfolio spanning private equity, real estate, operating businesses, and strategic investments across multiple jurisdictions.

About the Role

The Family Office Treasury Accountant will support the CFO and senior leadership team across treasury operations, cash management, liquidity planning, banking, financial reporting, and investment-related finance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day cash flow, liquidity, payments, treasury reporting, and bank reconciliations across Family Office entities
  • Prepare short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts and support liquidity planning across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
  • Manage banking relationships, bank accounts, payment processes, deposits, and treasury administration
  • Monitor cash positions across investment vehicles, holding companies, partnerships, and operating businesses
  • Support foreign exchange transactions, currency exposure monitoring, and international fund movements
  • Assist with intercompany funding, shareholder loans, capital calls, distributions, and investment-related cash movements
  • Prepare monthly treasury reports, cash summaries, management accounts, and financial information for the CFO and senior leadership
  • Support consolidated reporting across multiple jurisdictions and investment structures
  • Assist with UK and international tax compliance, including treasury-related tax matters, working closely with external tax advisers and auditors
  • Support accounting and reporting for investment vehicles, holding companies, partnerships, and operating businesses
  • Prepare portfolio and investment cash flow reporting across real estate, mining, manufacturing, and other assets
  • Assist with financial analysis and funding requirements relating to acquisitions, disposals, and new investments

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience within a family office, treasury function, investment group, private equity environment, or international business
  • Strong treasury, cash management, management accounting, and financial reporting experience
  • Experience managing multi-entity bank accounts, payments, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity reporting
  • Exposure to multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional structures would be advantageous
  • Understanding of UK tax, VAT, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with accounting, treasury, or ERP systems
  • Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders, banks, and principals
