Treasury Accountant / London / Hybrid / Contract - 9 Month FTC - £75k (Pro Rata)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and contribute to group cash flow forecasting, supporting wider liquidity and funding analysis.
- Manage the accounting for external debt facilities, covering interest accruals, repayments, drawdowns, and other financing activity.
- Take responsibility for intercompany accounting, ensuring balances are accurately recorded, reviewed, and reconciled.
- Support the accounting treatment and documentation associated with interest rate hedging arrangements.
- Analyse cash movements across the business and contribute to treasury and wider finance reporting.
- Work alongside Finance, Tax, and Compliance teams to ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for intercompany funding arrangements.
- Support technical accounting matters under IFRS 9, with particular focus on debt and treasury-related activities.
- Assist with audit requirements across treasury, financing, and intercompany accounting, responding to queries and preparing supporting information.
- Monitor intercompany funding activity and its alignment with requirements under external financing agreements.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury accounting processes, controls, and reporting, helping to create more efficient ways of working.
- Get involved in wider treasury, financing, and finance-related projects as the function continues to develop.

Candidate Profile

- Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years PQE.
- Experience working with debt facilities, interest calculations, intercompany funding, or hedging would be particularly relevant.
- Comfortable working with large and complex data sets with strong analytical capability.
