Interim Treasury Accountant
London (Hybrid)
12-Months
Up to 85k FTC
Pearse Portfolio are supporting an infrastructure firm in looking for a Treasury Accountant to join its Finance team on an initial 12-month contract, supporting a growing and increasingly complex debt and treasury function.
This is a technical, hands-on role owning intercompany accounting and the accounting for a portfolio of external debt facilities. You will work across Finance, Tax, and Compliance in a fast-moving international business, with a high degree of autonomy and real ownership from day one.

What you will do
- Own intercompany accounting and balances, and project manage their documentation across Finance, Tax, and Compliance
- Account for external debt facilities: drawdowns, repayments, interest accruals, debt servicing, and arrangement fees
- Handle the technical aspects of IFRS 9 from a Group perspective, growing into hedge accounting and documentation over time
- Ensure compliance of intercompany balances with external debt facilities
- Account for short-term investments and act as Treasury point of contact for audit

What you will bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or similar) with 2 to 5 years post-qualification experience
- Treasury experience, or strong IFRS 9 exposure from another technical accounting background
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data with excellent attention to detail
- A confident self-starter used to managing external parties in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Project-financing experience an advantage
International business exposure preferred. Immediate or short-notice availability ideal.
