Job Opportunity: Treasury Accounts Assistant

πŸ“Š Are you a detail-driven finance professional who loves working with data, reconciliations and problem-solving?

We're looking for a Treasury Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to treasury operations, cash management and receivables financing while working with large datasets and key stakeholders across the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Running reports from SAP and other ERP systems to analyse receivables data
  • Supporting receivables discounting and factoring activities
  • Reconciling accounts, banking statements and financial records
  • Producing insightful analysis and reporting
  • Monitoring cash movements and preparing financial journals
  • Supporting month-end processes, audits and account reconciliations
  • Maintaining customer credit limits and factoring availability
  • Working closely with Finance, Credit Control and Shared Service teams
  • Assisting with treasury-related projects and process improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in Finance, Accounts, Treasury or a similar role
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confidence handling large volumes of financial data
  • A proactive and organised approach to work
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams
  • Experience of SAP or similar ERP system
  • Studying towards AAT or another accounting qualification is beneficial but not essential
