Treasury Accounts Assistant - Central London

£35,000–£40,000 + benefits

I’m currently working with a leading property business who are looking to hire a Treasury Accounts Assistant to join their growing Finance team.

This is a great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant with experience across banking, payments, and reconciliations who is looking to develop their career within Treasury.

The role:

  • Review banking platforms daily and complete bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Process a range of payments including Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS, and international payments
  • Ensure transactions are accurately recorded and posted to the accounting system
  • Act as the key point of contact for day-to-day banking queries
  • Support bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts and managing users
  • Prepare and post interest accrual journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with debt facility schedules, lender reporting, and monthly cash flow reporting
  • Support wider Treasury projects, process improvements, and ad-hoc requests

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
