Treasury Administrator
About You
Our business has experienced strong growth and we have an exciting opportunity for the key role of Treasury Administrator.
We are looking for someone who is keen to embrace the opportunity of developing their career as part of an award-winning pensions consultancy.
You will be able to evidence previous experience of working successfully within a busy commercial environment to achieve clear but also challenging goals. You will have the ability to communicate and positively influence and negotiate at all levels, both internally and externally.
This role will form part of our Treasury team and will report through to the Treasury Team Lead. The role will include elements of the below responsibilities.
Upon Training you will:
- Prepare cash flows, process Investments based upon this for pensions schemes assets.
- Process Invoices/Member payments/monthly payrolls for a number of schemes.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between accounts and internal ledgers.
- Prepare and submit reports with various information to Scheme Administrators/Client Managers/External companies.
- Complete monthly Bank reconciliations.
- Be responsible for applying policies and procedures in the timely handling, processing and deposit of cash receipts or disbursements.
- Prepare and collate payments in a responsible, timely and accurate manner.
- Manage the set up and on-going management of trustee bank accounts as required, within internal deadlines and appropriately maintaining the Company systems.
- Attend and effectively contribute to all relevant internal and external meetings, ensuring actions, projects deadlines are adhered to and completed.
- Assist with any ad-hoc tasks and projects within the team.

Responsibilities & Criteria
Essential Professional Experience and Knowledge
- Up to two years’ experience working in a busy commercial environment.
- Excellent knowledge of computerised systems e.g. Microsoft Office/Windows applications, especially in Excel
- Excellent written and communication skills which have been tested internally and externally
- An understanding of how to deliver in line with internal controls and business processes

Circumstances
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with additional hours as and when required.
- The role holder may be at times required to travel to other UK locations.
- All roles are subject to a six-month probationary period and all prospective employees are required to complete background screening to cover all locations.
- As part of the pre-hire process, the successful candidate will be subject to reference checking and background security vetting.
