Being a Treasury Administrator at Privalgo
As a Treasury Administrator at Privalgo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of foreign exchange transactions through daily trade execution and treasury administration.
You will be at the forefront of Privalgo’s FX operations, working closely with our Front of House departments.
Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will be instrumental to trade placements. Your role will be pivotal to Privalgo’s financial stability and success, being responsible for managing Privalgo’s liquidity and mitigating currency risks within FX transactions.
You’ll be committed to maintaining integrity as you work closely with the Settlements department, upholding compliance with AML regulations and internal policies.
You will remain curious with a strong analytical mind set, looking to automate and innovate processes where possible. You’ll be the key contributor to our treasury function for Privalgo Limited and Privalgo Markets Limited.
You’ll have the confidence to work independently but also be a committed team player, ready to get stuck in and meet deliverables efficiently.

Key Objectives and Initiatives (6-12 months)
- FX Transactions
- Execution of Trades: Responsible for executing trades, including spot, forward and derivatives markets.
- Forward deal placement: Have a solid understanding of forward deal placements and accuracy when it comes to when to book a trade.

Currency Risk Management
- Identify Exposure: Assess and monitor exposure to currency fluctuations, including transactional, translational, and economic exposure.
- Analyse market data and trends to inform strategy and decision-making. Continuously monitor market conditions and geopolitical events that could impact currency values.

Liquidity Management
- Manage Collateral: Knowledgeable of the position of trades with counterparties and the overall forward position of each counterparty. Ensure sufficient collateral is held at all counterparties, to allow execution of expected trades.

Stakeholder Collaboration
- Communication: Present financial information to external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and regulators. Keep them abreast of Privalgo’s FX activities and policies.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain effective relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favourable terms and facilitate efficient FX transactions.
- Build rapport with front of house members to optimise effectivity of FX operations.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment on FX strategies and activities to facilitate trade execution.

Process Improvement
- Treasury Management Systems: Utilise treasury management systems (TMS) and other financial software to automate and streamline FX processes.
- Continuously learning and confidently applying market terminology.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2 + years’ experience within a settlement, trade execution or treasury role.
- Experience within financial services or FX industry is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable. In Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills. A problem solver who presents effective solutions through informed decisions.
- Technical ability across several platforms and applications (MS Office, MS tech stack, Super D, bank/broker platforms and internal platforms.)

The hybrid life
As a business, we aim to be in the office together three times a week. It’s great for us to be united, bond and have fun whilst we work hard and show what we’re made of. Working hours will be 8:00am – 5:00pm.
