Your day at NTT DATA
The Treasury Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for working within the broader Finance team and is responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data.
This role typically works with a variety of different types of information, including but not limited to accounting records, market indicators, economic reports and more, and uses this information to make predictions about future events or trends.
This role may also be tasked with presenting their findings in an easy-to-understand format that can be easily communicated to other business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Reviews financial statements and conducts research on accounting principles to ensure accuracy of company records.
- Prepares financial reports such as profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, and budgets for internal stakeholder use.
- Responds to questions from relevant business stakeholders about company performance or industry trends.
- Evaluates investment proposals to determine whether they meet an organizational goal.
- Assists with various accounting tasks.
- Recommends changes to accounting procedures / processes to improve efficiency.
- Assists in the development and implementation of new financial policies and processes.
- Performs research to identify potential investment opportunities or risks in different markets.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
- Accounting skills to record and track financial transactions, prepare budgets, and analyze financial data.
- Ability to interpret financial data and make predictions based on data.
- Ability to communicate information to relevant stakeholders in a clear and understandable way (verbal and written).
- Ability to analyze data to interpret and draw conclusions from large amounts of data.
- Excellent problem-solving ability to enable finding solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure to achieve project deadlines within the agreed timeframe(s).
Academic qualifications and certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, or another related field.
- Relevant certification(s) such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) etc.
Required experience:
- Seasoned demonstrated experience in a similar role gained within a similar global information technology organization.
- Demonstrable track record of involvement in innovation, design thinking, client and employee experience transformation.
