Job Introduction

Treasury Analyst

Salary £30,000 To £36,000 Depending On Experience

Permanent

Hybrid / Folkestone

We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. In this team we work mainly from Folkestone, Kent alongside home-working.

Role Responsibility

The Treasury Team’s objective is to look after the financial health of our organisation by mitigating risks, keeping assets safe and returns optimised. As a Treasury Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in the daily operation of Treasury and be a central point of contact within a small team.

You’ll support the management of the Group’s cash, debt, currency and commodity hedges and investment strategy. Working closely with colleagues across Finance and Group Professional Services, you’ll assist with Treasury operations, reporting and banking activities while developing strong relationships with external partners including banks, financial service providers and auditors.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage Enterprise-wide cash balances each day, ensuring there are no overdrawn balances and that surplus funds are invested in line with policy, ensuring regulatory capital is ringfenced where required.
  • Ensure all bank transfers are accurately recorded in the general ledger (Workday).
  • Assist with implementation of process improvement and automation of daily processes, especially cash management.
  • Complete FX settlement on behalf of the Travel business, in line with Group policy, including coordination and trading of weekly requirements.
  • Prepare and process manual payments, including coordination of the authorisation process.
  • Maintain the bank account register, monitor account usage and support the opening, amendment and closure of bank accounts as business requirements evolve.
  • Lead online banking and portal administration, including maintenance of user and contact lists.
  • Take ownership of bank mandates, coordinating changes with the Company Secretarial Team and various banks, and maintaining a master database.
  • Assist with month-end Treasury processes, such as FX reconciliations, intercompany funding transfers and preparation of Treasury reporting.
  • Act as a key point of contact for our banking and other partners, with responsibility for KYC requests.
  • Manage the Treasury inbox, providing appropriate responses in a timely manner and escalating queries where appropriate.
  • Support ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
