The Role

MNK Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join its growing Treasury function in London. This newly created position presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious early-career finance professional to gain broad exposure across treasury operations within a dynamic, international environment.

The role will provide experience across cash management, liquidity management, foreign exchange, and financial reporting, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced Treasury and Finance professionals. The successful candidate will benefit from strong mentorship, exposure to senior stakeholders, and a clear pathway for career progression within a globally expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Operations and Cash Management

  • Support daily cash positioning and liquidity management across multiple currencies and international entities
  • Assist with intercompany funding activities and payment processing
  • Support bank account management, including administration and maintenance of banking relationships

Risk Monitoring and Controls

  • Monitor foreign exchange exposures and support hedging activities
  • Identify and escalate credit, liquidity, market, and operational risks in accordance with Group treasury policies
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements

Reporting and Analysis

  • Prepare cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, and variance analysis
  • Support the preparation of management information and financial analysis
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, as well as committee reporting

Stakeholder and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with banking partners and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a key point of contact for treasury-related queries
  • Support the onboarding of new banking and financial partners, including due diligence processes

Process Improvement and Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Finance, Payments, and Operations teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in treasury processes, policies, and controls
  • Monitor market and regulatory developments to support treasury decision-making

Skills and Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in treasury, finance operations, banking, or a related financial services role
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
  • Understanding of cash management, treasury operations, foreign exchange, and financial reporting
  • Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) or ERP systems is advantageous
  • Studying towards a professional qualification (ACT, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly desirable
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative environment
