Treasury Analyst Contract Position
We are seeking on behalf of our client an experienced Treasury Analyst to support the day-to-day treasury and cash management activities for an initial 20 weeks contract. This role is responsible for managing cash positioning, forecasting, payment processing, reconciliations, and treasury operations while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will also play a key role in supporting Oracle Fusion testing as part of the organisation's finance transformation programme.

- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage the Group's daily cash positioning, liquidity, and movement of funds to optimise cash utilisation.
- Maintain effective control over all cash transactions across the Group.
- Support cash pooling activities and identify opportunities to improve balance reporting and operational efficiency.
- Produce weekly Group cash reports for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- Monitor and reduce unavailable (non-pooled) cash balances across the Group.
- Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts and align them with the long-term Group cash flow forecast.
- Support payment execution and drive improvements to payment processes and banking system functionality.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to coordinate payment activities, including corporate finance transactions.
- Review, verify, and authorise treasury-related documentation and transactions where required.
- Support cash accounting activities within Oracle Fusion, including bank reconciliations and reconciliation of cash pooling transactions prior to automation.
- Reconcile treasury cash forecasts with statutory cash balances.
- Provide cover for other Treasury team members when required.
- Assist with treasury projects, including bank account closures, implementation of a new Treasury Management System (TMS), and onboarding relationship banks into the new Consult business.
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve treasury processes by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
