Join Freshfields' Group Treasury Team

We're looking for a Treasury Analyst to join our Global Treasury team.

This is an opportunity to build specialist treasury knowledge while working within a supportive team responsible for global banking operations, treasury systems, financial controls, and stakeholder relationships.

This is an entry-level opportunity with structured training and development support, suitable for candidates looking to build their experience in treasury, finance, or professional services.

The role offers structured training and development, making it suitable for individuals looking to develop their treasury expertise, regardless of whether they have worked in treasury before.

Previous treasury experience is not essential.

We are interested in the skills, behaviors, and potential you can bring to the role. Whether your experience has been gained through education, employment, volunteering, community activities, caring responsibilities, military service, or other life experiences, we encourage you to apply.

What you'll do

  • Supporting online banking administration and user maintenance across global banking platforms
  • Assisting with bank account and mandate administration
  • Supporting reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
  • Maintaining accurate documentation, process notes, and records
  • Working with colleagues, banks, and external service providers
  • Supporting treasury systems administration and continuous improvement activities
  • Contributing to process improvement and automation opportunities as your knowledge develops

What you don't need

  • Previous treasury experience
  • Experience working in a law firm or professional services environment
  • A finance-related degree, equivalent qualification, or specific academic background
  • An accountancy qualification, equivalent professional certification, or relevant financial qualification
  • Treasury qualifications or professional certifications

While these may be helpful, they are not required. Full training and support will be provided.

You'll be supported by an experienced Treasury team and will have opportunities to learn:

  • Treasury management systems

  • Financial controls and treasury processes

There may also be opportunities to pursue treasury qualifications and broaden your responsibilities over time.
