Payments Analyst

Location: London or Bexhill

We’re looking for an experienced Payments Analyst to join a growing UK-based financial services business. You’ll play a key role in helping shape, monitor and optimise our payments capability, working closely with the Payments Manager to improve customer outcomes, strengthen controls and support a resilient payments operation.

Key responsibilities & experience

  • Hands-on experience with Stripe, including Stripe Dashboard and Radar.
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, gateways, card processing and payment operations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks and actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of payment risk, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring and operational controls.
  • Understanding of PCI DSS, Bacs and card scheme requirements.
  • Experience with reporting/data analysis tools and strong stakeholder management skills.
