📢 We’re hiring: Treasury Analyst | Manchester
We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading global travel technology company for a technically minded Treasury Analyst to automate reporting, strengthen data quality, and improve financial workflows.
📍 Manchester — hybrid, 2 days on site per week
📅 6-month initial contract
⏰ 37.5 hours per week
💷 £53 per hour Umbrella or £40 per hour PAYE, plus £5.82 holiday pay
What you’ll be doing:
- Automating insurance bordereau workflows, from source-report ingestion and data cleaning to reconciliation and output preparation.
- Building validation checks for duplicate records, missing data, formatting errors, and financial mismatches.
- Improving an insurance complaints email bot, including classification, information extraction, routing, and human-review controls.
- Automating recurring reporting, management information, and data transformations.
- Converting manual spreadsheet processes into maintainable scripts, Google Apps Script tools, or AI-agent workflows.
- Documenting logic, assumptions, and fallback procedures so non-technical colleagues can maintain the outputs.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and workflows across multiple files and tabs.
- Practical Python or JavaScript coding skills, with experience working with CSV, Excel, JSON, and APIs.
- Google Apps Script experience, including automation, triggers, and custom functions.
- Working SQL knowledge and experience querying cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab for version control and collaborative delivery.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code to build, test, and document automations.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly around reconciliation and data quality.
