Keep the business moving through effective cash and treasury management
Role Overview
Join our Treasury team in Leeds and play an important role in ensuring the smooth and accurate management of cash, banking and treasury activities across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to develop their treasury career within a large and fast-paced organisation. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, supporting bank reconciliations, payments, cash management and intercompany transactions while helping to ensure strong financial controls and efficient treasury operations.
Key Duties
- Reconcile UK bank accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Process banking payments accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Manage intercompany transfers and ensure transactions are correctly recorded.
- Support cash forecasting activities and the management of bank balances.
- Assist with foreign currency requirements and wider treasury activities.
- Maintain accurate treasury records and provide information for reporting and analysis.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and banking contacts to resolve queries.
- Ensure treasury processes comply with company policies and financial controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide additional support to the wider Finance team as required.

Ideal Candidate
- AAT Level 4 qualified or hold an equivalent finance qualification.
- Experienced within a finance environment, ideally with exposure to treasury, cash management or banking activities.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiar with SAP systems, although this is not essential.
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, with a focus on continuous improvement and process efficiency.
- Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
