Treasury Assistant Manager

As a Treasury Assistant Manager, you'll support in establishing cash pools, developing liquidity management processes, forecasting and treasury best practice across the organisation.

Client Details

Our client is a global business with operations across international markets. They are building out a new Group Treasury function so are looking for a Treasury Assistant Manager to support in shaping cash and liquidity management processes, forecasting and treasury best practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing treasury team and make a visible impact from day one!

Description

  • Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across the Group.
  • Ensure funds are available in the right entity, currency and bank account to support operations.
  • Oversee cash pooling structures and optimise cash visibility and utilisation.
  • Manage the Group's 13-week liquidity forecasting process.
  • Review and challenge forecasts from local finance teams, improving accuracy and cash discipline.
  • Act as the primary treasury contact for global entities on cash, liquidity and funding matters.
  • Support FX settlements, treasury payments and intercompany funding activities.
  • Assist with treasury reporting, process improvements and treasury systems initiatives.
  • Maintain strong treasury controls and governance across all cash management activities.

Profile

  • Experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Banking or Corporate Finance.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting and treasury operations.
  • Experience with bank accounts, payments and cash pooling structures.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proactive, organised and detail-oriented approach.
  • ACT qualification (or studying towards) beneficial.

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • 8% bonus
  • Flexible working hours within the 37.5 hour working week
  • Cash health plan
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing with service)
  • 4% matched pension
