We pair deep real estate accounting expertise with industry-leading technology to tailor global and local accounting and reporting solutions for distinct portfolios, optimizing operations and reducing risk.

We are looking for a Regional Treasury Director

Who is responsible for managing EMEA/APAC bank relationships and end to end payments process for our clients in the EMEA and APAC. The role requires close collaboration with all departments within the IA&R organization as well as with new and existing clients. Together with your operational managers, you will lead an international team based throughout EMEA who performs and monitors vendor management, invoice processing, payment processing, bank account management, adherence to client delegations of authority and ongoing process improvements. In addition, you will support your team to monitor and address backlogs, manage exceptions, ensure audit compliance and liaise with clients, internal service providers for outsourced services, vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfactory delivery of service across EMEA and APAC.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the EMEA Payments team (approximately 30 members), ensuring accurate, timely, and procedural-compliant payment processing.
  • Manage the Bank Account Management team (approximately 8 members), guaranteeing the timely opening and closing of bank accounts to meet client expectations. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all partner banks.
  • Coordinate the seamless onboarding of bank accounts and payment services, aligned with the target operating model, for both new and existing clients expanding their portfolios. Collaborate closely with Client Onboarding and Client Servicing teams.
  • Spearhead the team's efforts to achieve fully automated payment processes across all client banks, leveraging the Kyriba platform.
  • Lead client pricing model discussions, track relevant statistics, and ensure alignment between the Statement of Work (SOW) and actual client activity.
  • Proactively monitor client payment statistics to identify and address any process gaps.
  • Conduct regular reviews of treasury processes, recommending improvements to eliminate manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the implementation lead for all new treasury initiatives, including providing comprehensive training to the team on newly introduced processes.
  • Represent treasury as the primary point of contact for all client meetings in the EMEA and APAC regions. In person meetings with all UK clients on a quarterly basis or as needed.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all SOC1 audit requirements.
  • Conduct regular meetings with all treasury employees to gather process feedback, foster a positive team environment, and provide mentorship for career development.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, successfully managing diverse teams of significant size.
  • Extensive treasury experience within the banking and payments industries.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, banking partners, external auditors, and clients.
  • Ability to excel and maintain performance in a fast-paced environment.
