Working closely with the Group Treasurer, you will shape Flutter’s treasury strategy, risk management, policy, and compliance framework, setting a best-in-class standard for a global, listed business. You will lead the capital structure, funding, and hedging agenda, own relationships with rating agencies and core banks, and ensure treasury is a trusted, well-controlled partner to the business as Flutter continues to grow.
We’re looking for a senior treasury leader to join us as Director of Treasury, Strategy, Risk, Policy, and Compliance.
This role sits at the heart of Flutter’s global Finance function, reporting to the Group Treasurer. You’ll partner with the Group Treasurer to define and drive global treasury strategy, covering funding, financial risk management, treasury policy, and compliance. You’ll lead the team that makes sure Flutter’s capital structure, financing, and treasury solutions meet the needs of a fast-growing, multinational business and stand up to regulatory and governance scrutiny.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
