Job Title: Treasury Liquidity Analyst

Location: London (2/3 days per week onsite)

Contract: 7 months initially with possible extension

Rate: £600 - £650 inside IR35

Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a talented Cash Management & Liquidity Automation Analyst to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives on optimising processes and embracing technology to transform cash management and treasury operations.


Role Purpose

The Cash Management & Liquidity Automation Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the optimisation, automation, and transformation of cash management processes through data, workflow automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The focus will be on improving the management of Nostro accounts, intraday liquidity, cash forecasting, payment flows, and liquidity controls.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Management & Liquidity Analysis:

  • Analyse cash management workflows across Treasury and Operations.
  • Monitor Nostro account funding processes and liquidity management activities.
  • Identify opportunities for improving cash visibility and funding efficiency.

Nostro Account Management & Funding Optimisation:

  • Support monitoring of account balances and funding activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of automated funding solutions.
  • Help with reconciliation and control processes for cash accounts.

Platform Analysis:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to assess enhancement opportunities.
  • Document business requirements and perform gap analyses.
  • Evaluate AI capabilities that bolster liquidity optimisation.

Risk, Control & Governance:

  • Conduct operational risk assessments related to liquidity processes.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing cash controls and governance.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements.

Core Deliverables

  • Cash flow analysis and intraday liquidity assessments.
  • Recommendations for funding optimisation and liquidity risk analysis.
  • Development of real-time cash visibility reporting and dashboards.

Essential

Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Experience in Cash Management, Treasury Operations, or Liquidity Management.
  • Understanding of Nostro account management and funding processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

Desirable

  • Exposure to AI, automation, or workflow technologies.
  • Familiarity with treasury management systems and liquidity platforms.
  • Knowledge of cash reconciliations and liquidity regulations.
