Treasury & Liquidity Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Treasury & Liquidity Specialist based in the United Kingdom.

This is a hands-on treasury role at the center of a fast-moving, multi-market financial infrastructure operation. You will ensure liquidity is available in the right place, currency, and account so that payouts, settlements, and trades continue without disruption. Working across banks, liquidity providers, and stablecoin platforms, you will execute fund movements, payments, and currency conversions with accuracy and urgency. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve liquidity-impacting issues and support new markets and products. The role offers significant ownership and autonomy, with direct responsibility for critical financial operations. You’ll join a fully remote, globally distributed environment focused on financial inclusion and innovation.

Accountabilities

  • Manage liquidity and cash movements: Execute local and offshore fund transfers between banking partners and liquidity providers, ensuring accounts remain adequately funded across USD, EUR, GBP, and other local currencies.
  • Monitor balances proactively: Review bank and liquidity-provider balances daily, identify potential shortfalls, and take timely action to prevent payment or settlement disruptions.
  • Execute payments and trades: Initiate wire, ACH, and SWIFT transfers within approved limits and execute fiat-to-stablecoin and stablecoin-to-fiat conversions with liquidity-provider trading desks.
  • Support liquidity planning: Assist with liquidity movements, projections, capital-cycle management, repayments, and broader treasury activities.
  • Manage banking and liquidity relationships: Serve as a day-to-day contact for banking partners and liquidity providers across multiple international markets, coordinating wallet whitelisting and infrastructure changes.
  • Monitor counterparty and settlement risk: Track exposure and promptly escalate access, settlement, banking, or counterparty issues.
  • Reconcile and maintain records: Reconcile bank and liquidity-provider statements against internal records, investigate discrepancies, and maintain complete documentation of fund movements and payment activity.
  • Support reporting and close activities: Collect monthly liquidity-provider statements, contribute to month-end close, and prepare treasury dashboards and liquidity-related reporting.
  • Handle operational support: Process customer refunds, support funding approvals for operating expenses and payroll, and assist with urgent liquidity requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Finance, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams on incidents, liquidity-impacting issues, market launches, and new products.
  • Strengthen operational resilience: Document processes, share knowledge, and cross-train with other treasury team members to ensure continuity of daily execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
