Role Overview

We are seeking a Treasury Manager to be based in the UK, who will help shape a newly established Treasury function. As a member of the Treasury team, you’ll play an integral part of the Corporate Treasury team and will be responsible for all cash management responsibilities internationally including liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, money market investments, cash repatriation, bank account management, reporting, and driving automation projects. Assist in the contribution to the design and development of processes, and best practices within the department.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee and manage daily treasury operations including cash positioning, liquidity management, and bank account management across all international entities.
  • Partner with accounting and operational stakeholders to improve cash forecasting and implement cash management initiatives that align to the liquidity needs of the business.
  • Have in-depth experience with various pooling structures, monthly settlements, and repatriation of cash that are compliant with local tax, international statutory, and banking requirements.
  • Manage currency exposure and transactions across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring effective foreign exchange management and compliance with local regulations.
  • Evaluate financial exposures that could cause volatility on the balance sheet.
  • Manage intercompany loans and exposures, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing policies and identifying opportunities for efficient cash repatriation.
  • Drive automation and optimization of treasury processes and systems for efficiency and scalability. (e.g.) Implementation of Treasury Systems (TMS) platforms, Dashboards
  • Monitor investment compliance and ensure investments align with our Treasury investment policy and strategy.
  • Assist in supporting regular compliance requests, creating new bank accounts when required, managing documentation requests.
  • Manage relationships with global banking partners ensuring access to competitive financial products and services and adherence to regulatory and compliance standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Accounting teams to identify liquidity needs, execute intercompany loans, intercompany settlements, and other Treasury operations projects in order to meet business objectives

Who you are

  • Experience in global corporate treasury function with strong demonstrated knowledge in cash management, cash flow forecasting, bank account management, foreign exchange, and intercompany transactions.
  • Strong understanding of managing and implementing complex liquidity structures. (e.g.) Cash pooling structure
  • Experience with treasury systems (TMS) platforms, banking systems, and Clearwater analytics.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and superior attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills include financial modeling and analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively on a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with a desire and ability to build relationships.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. (e.g.) ACCA, ACA, CIMA.
  • 5 to 8+ years of relevant treasury professional experience within a high-growth technology environment.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company is highly preferred, with knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
