What you’ll be doing

Your role may include, but will not be limited to, the following tasks which we call ‘Defined Business Activities’. The list of defined business activities is not exhaustive and may be amended from time to time:

  • Manage the day-to-day money movement for all Gen II European Clients
  • Work with Business Unit Directors and Client Service Teams, respective teams, across Gen II to manage payment instructions and timing of payments for investment capital calls, investor distributions and expenses
  • Manage the onboarding of clients onto the Treasury Management platform
  • Manage and collaborate on workflow and processes associated with fund accountant and client requests
  • Collaborate with Treasury Leadership team to Manage and Coordinate daily/weekly workflow for team to meet service level agreements
  • Ensure efficient Control Framework across Treasury and lead on effective planning and organisation.
  • Assist and where applicable Lead in Transformation activity – help steer project deliverables for Treasury to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with Treasury Leadership team and broader stakeholders to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process improvement – and lead to fruition.
  • Assist in the hiring process for the Treasury Team located in Southampton, England, Jersey, Channel Islands and Luxembourg
  • Hold People leader responsibilities – Assist in Managing team development and organisation
  • Ensure Treasury have robust processes and procedures

The ideal background for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field experience
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of European regulation, compliance, tax and financial engineering
  • Competency in cash management systems
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong relationship building skills

  • People leader experience
  • Ability to thrive as part of a team, while also being able to work independently

Role Location/Hybrid Schedule

This role is based in our Southampton office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible, there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken is dependent on the demands and needs of the business, the office space available and the individual’s preferences and circumstances.
