Interim Treasury Manager – 6-Month Contract

Location: London / Hybrid
Contract: Interim (6 Months - possible extension)
Day rate: £400-650pd (Inside IR35)

The Opportunity

We're recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Interim Treasury Manager to join their finance team during a period of transition. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining effective treasury operations while supporting ongoing business priorities and process improvements. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly establish themselves within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day treasury operations.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and forecasting activities.
  • Support and mentor a small treasury team.
  • Oversee banking relationships and cash management activities.
  • Manage foreign exchange requirements where applicable.
  • Support treasury systems (TMS - Kyriba) and operational improvements.
  • Maintain robust treasury controls, debt management, governance, and compliance.
  • Document key processes and support a smooth handover at the end of the assignment.
  • Partner with finance and wider business stakeholders on treasury-related initiatives.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Proven treasury experience within a medium or large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, liquidity, and treasury operations.
  • Experience working with treasury systems (TMS - Kyriba) and improving processes.
  • Previous people management or mentoring experience.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously and deliver results in an interim capacity.
  • Treasury or accounting qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
